Freeman Dyson was the first person to actually sign the STARCAR in honor of Richard Feynman who is known to have driven a Feynman Diagram van around Caltech {an early innovator of the Educational Artcar!}. The thought of his van was comforting in the early days when I was ridiculed (and harassed!) for driving the Periodic Table Car. So a 'Special Thanks! to Freeman Dyson' for walking to the garage and signing my (dearly deceased mother's) STARCAR in a cold February morning in Washington D.C.. I was UNable to junk the STARCAR after it was totalled leaving the American Chemical Society conference in D.C. AUG 2000 (hit and knocked over by a red light runner which totalled the car! 'Thanks to D.C. POLICE who never cited him, I got taken to the hospital and couldn't find him! So hobbled back to California...And look who's signed it now!

PERIODICTABLECAR.com Need of a long resting place (?Lawrence Hall of Science, FORD Museum?).........develop ciriculum, "CARCHEM" (and now after a summer in Kentucky "CAMPING CHEM" they love fire there!"). Also sent me a copy of "Uncle Tungsten" (I'm saving for a rainy day when I need inspiration!) The first few pages of this book are excellent to introduce kids to the questions of chemistry as he tells of his mother's answers to questions...Every fourth grade teacher should read this to their class!
