These periodic tables were originally sold exclusively at finer university bookstores ( Princeton, Stanford, Cal Berkeley, MIT, Caltech, and UCSD to name a few. In 1997 they were used by the 'Peer Led Chemistry Program' developed at the City College of New York for Two Year Community Colleges (By the way, this is the best technique for introductory college chemistry to be taught, by students in a turorial fashion)...

The Folding Periodic Table can be used with kids as young a 5 yrs old looking at pictures and figuring that fluroide is good for teeth and calcium for bones, etc. There's interesting and informative stuff for all ages and levels.

The late great Glenn T. Seaborg (element #106 Seaborgium) wrote in 1996, "...I appreciate the compliment on your artfully embellished periodic table...", and in 1997, "I am glad to be kept up to date on your attempts to help teachers teach chemistry...Keep up the good work!" the intellectuals get this but the regular teachers are trying to teach what most of them never learned, so that's why I'm offering this directly to the students and those curious to learn chemistry. It's NOT A MYSTERY, it is a mystery why they teach it he way they do?????
